Nonprofit Race

In addition to the Ducky Derby and Street Fair, a Virtual Ducky Race featuring Duckies swimming for local non-profits will be held in the weeks leading up to Ducky Derby Day on June 9th.

Every on-line Ducky Derby ticket purchased between now and the close of online sales earns the opportunity to "Cheer" for a non-profit Ducky.

The non-profit Ducky with the most cheers by close of online sales will receive an additional $1000 for their non-profit. The Ducky Leaderboard will be updated regularly both here and on the Rotary Club of Castle Rock’s Facebook Page.

Updated Race Results as of: April 20th, 2024

Wellspring Wally is racing for Wellspring Community and is excited to represent the Wellspring STARS (Specially Talented Adults Raising Standards).

Wally has been spending time out in the community with our STARS meeting lots of new people in Castle Rock. Wally and the Wellspring STARS know that anything is possible, even winning the Ducky Derby, when you put the right amount of joy and dancing into your day!

Our STARS show us what special abilities they have and remind us that the only limits we have are those we put on ourselves. The Wellspring STARS and Wellspring Wally are excited for this year’s race and will see you at the finish line!  Learn more about Wellspring here.

Seniorita is racing for all the seniors at the Castle Rock Senior Activity Center (CRSAC) as well as in Douglas County, those “lucky ducks.” She trains by delivering Meals on Wheels to homebound seniors, as well as shuttling seniors around town to medical appointments and, to her favorite, shopping. Seniorita also helps with the many classes and programs offered at the Center including Sports, Game Time and Wellness Programs.

The Drama Group is her favorite as she is always quacking everyone up and has a bit of Drama Queen in her. She loves traveling with the many trips offered including Casino Trips, Bucket List Trips & Mystery Trips. She definitely keeps all the ducks in a row.

Quacks McParktrails, the ducky derby racer, embodies the Castle Rock community’s spirit, sponsored by the Castle Rock Parks and Trails Foundation for the Rotary Club’s annual Ducky Derby.
